Ch. 12

Dear Diary,

 

          I am now in heaven, however, I am watching over the boys. I can now see everything that is happening on the island. I hear Jack ad his tribe planning to hunt Ralph down and kill him. Luckily, Ralph snuck back to Jack's side, and received information from the twins about Jack's plan to hunt him down, and he fled. Ralph hid in a thicket, however his location was unsafe. Jack's tribe tried breaking into the thicket but it was too dense.

 

         Ralph realizes that Jack has set the jungle on fire in order to get Ralph to come out of the thicket. Ralph left his hiding spot and ran past a group of Jack's hunters. The boys began to chase Ralph around the island. Ralph became exhausted, and collapsed on the beach when all of a sudden he noticed a naval officer standing over him. The officer is disappointed in the boy's behavior, however he brings them back to his ship and rescued them. I am glad Ralph made it to safety.
