Ch.6

Dear Diary,

 

       Ralph suddenly called a meeting at night, while we was all asleep. At the meeting, the twins, SamnEric explain how they saw the beastie, and it assaulted them. The boys said that they were tending the fire when all of a sudden, they saw the shadowy figure of the beast in the flickering firelight. The boys decided to go on an expedition to search the island for monsters. All of the boys set out with wooden spears, however, I stayed behind with the littluns.

 

      The boys were gone for a pretty long time. The littluns and I were worried that the beastie attacked the other boys. We must get off of this island as soon as possible. The fear of the beastie has increased on the island, and some of us are beginning to feel as though we aren't safe anymore.

 

     While SamnEric were tending the fire, it was dark out, so maybe they mistook an ordinary object for the beast. If the boys actually discover the beastie like SamnEric said, I am not sure what will happen to us. The littluns might've been right, there , actually may be a beast on the island. If something happened to the rest of the boys, then I would have to lead the littluns to safety. I wasn’t ready for that kind of responsibility.
